On 1st of June 2020 the new AREI/RGIE with adjusted guidelines for electrical installations came into effect in Belgium. The new AREI aligns the Belgian directives to the European CPR (Construction Products Regulation) that defines the fire reaction of electrical cables. 

Preflex SAFE products still assure you of a correct installation. Preflex conduits are halogen free and flame resistant.  

All cables and wires in the Preflex SAFE product range are also halogen free and comply at least to CPR class Cca s1a1.

For safety and security installations Preflex SAFE offers prewired conduits with fire resistant cables that maintain electrical function in case of fire.
